With the recent real estate boom, many new real estate agents started in the business without adequate experience to navigate the market for their clients. I am an Associate Broker and GRI, and an elected Director of the Nampa Association of Realtors. I am very involved in my local Association of Realtors, and am currently Chairman of the Professional Standards Committee.

Cattle Ranch Work Ethics

I got my work ethics from being raised on large cattle ranches, working hard all year long. There was always something that needs done, so I ran every piece of equipment on the ranch at one time or another. That may have been why flying airplanes just seemed like another piece of equipment to me, only it wasn't so hot, dusty and dirty as running the baler, combine or swather, and it was a whole lot more fun.

Now I often donate free airplane rides for the scholarships committee and for several other benefits. I enjoy volunteering for the ACE Academy and the Young Eagles to promote aviation as a career for young people.

After my ranching days, I worked in banking and long term escrow (before automation when everything was figured by hand!). I was promoted to supervisor in charge of the tellers and the money in the vault, and received numerous awards for customer service and the prestigious "Managers Award."

My Path to Real Estate Top Producer

Helping people realize their dreams of owning Real Estate seemed like a natural fit for me and I've never looked back at doing anything different. I started in Real Estate as an Executive Assistant to the Broker/Owner of a small company in 1994. I then moved over to United Realty, followed by RE/MAX in about 1998, I've been a Top Producer consistently since I went to RE/MAX.

I frequently have clients come back after ten years to list the house I sold them. There just isn't anything else I would rather do.
