Too many new agents out there naively think that simply putting a home on the MLS will get it sold. That's a great start, but it takes more than that to get the kind exposure that sells a home in a reasonable amount of time for a good asking price. It takes experience and a passionate interest in helping people realize their dreams.

I started in Real Estate as an Executive Assistant to the Broker/Owner of a small company in 1994, then moved to United Realty, followed by RE/MAX in about 1998. I've been a Top Producer consistently since I coming to RE/MAX. Helping people realize their dreams of owning Real Estate is a natural fit for me, and I've never looked back at doing anything different. There just isn't anything else I would rather do.

There a lot of tips and tricks in staging your home to potential buyers for a fast sale. Don't make the mistake of thinking of your real estate transaction as a purely financial decision. It's much more than that. You need to give your home an emotional appeal when presenting it to home buyers as well. This is called home staging, and I can take a look at your home to give you customized advice to get it to sell faster.

Getting the best price for your home is determined by a couple of important factors:

2. Marketing

You can't do much about the market you're in, but you and your agent can do a lot in marketing your property to overcome any negative market conditions that might be present. This is where my experience comes into the picture. An agent who has never experienced anything other than a hot real estate market may not know how to market your property sufficiently to get you the price you want for your home.
